Nardi products are designed for the demanding conditions of the outdoors. Frames are made from UV-stabilised resin, legs from coated aluminium, and tops from durable laminate. The production process is built on renewable energy and recycling principles.
Nardi's signature material is UV-stabilised, fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene resin. Because it is coloured throughout the mass, the colour does not change when the surface is scratched; it resists weather, moisture and salt, cleans easily and is 100% recyclable.
Powder-coated aluminium is used for table legs and some frames. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant and recyclable; most tables come with adjustable feet that compensate for uneven floors.
Table tops use DurelTOP polypropylene or Materia HPL Solid Core laminate. They offer matte surfaces that resist wear, scratching and weather; suitable for intensive service and frequent cleaning.
Sunloungers and some seating groups use a breathable, replaceable synthetic fabric. It dries quickly after wet use; a worn cover can be replaced on its own without renewing the entire product.
All of the electricity used at the production facilities comes from certified renewable sources and the company's own photovoltaic panel system.
Water used in production returns to the cycle without being polluted; no polluting gas or smoke is released into the atmosphere. The process complies with the REACH (EC 1907/2006) regulation.
Resin products are 100% recyclable. Production scraps are ground down and fed back into the manufacturing cycle.
Launched in 2019, the Regeneration programme aims to produce outdoor furniture from recycled plastic that is itself recyclable again. Nardi has expanded its approach of grinding down and reusing production scraps and waste through this programme.
Products such as Sipario are also offered in the Regeneration range. The range continues to evolve with the goal of closing the material loop and reusing products at the end of their life.
